I did well at Nordstrom Rack.

slingback version of these:

A pair of black peep toe BGBG heels.  These are the perfect height - 3 inches.  Can't find a picture online.

Shoes like this but in green for walking around Rome next week:

A pair of black robert rodriguez trousers:

They were super flattering.

fashionfreak- can you review that Gap shirt for softness and quality?  I want a good easy to wear button down that isn't super fitted- i wear my dad's old shirts all the time.

All i bought this weekend was a burger/water at tgifridays....for $22!!! i'm still fuming- my friend and I saw a commercial for Friday's on tv and decided to hit one up in manhattan.  We thought it would be funny and we haven't been to a chain in NYC yet other than fast food.  We usually eat at good, cute places.  So we go there and it takes us countless obstacles and 2 hours to get there, we are drooling as we look at the menu and then notice...EVERYTHING is $17.50 or so.  A steak a la carte is near $30 (um peter luger steak is only slightly more- one of the best steak houses in the country), a turkey club is $17, a cup of soup is $8, a side of mashed potatos is $6, a soda is $4...We were soooo pissed and felt like we had to stay and eat because it took us forever to get there.  I'm still kind of pissed- i could have had a GOOD meal in brooklyn for that price- at a fancy place.  I expected $2-$3 more an entree, but never expected them to double their prices!  So rude.  It's effing Fridays.

Because I can't resist $20 Seychelles (so comfortable!). These certainly never jumped out at me when they were full price. Sale goggles, anyone?
