Hands down (for me, anyway) Sandra Bullock.  Also J Lo.

I am realy suprised by a lot of these answers.  While many of the people named may not be liked by people on this forum they are still good actors.  I'm not a crazy Gwyneth fan, but she was incredible in Shakespeare in Love and Sylvia and they are both good movies.  The same thing with Nicole Kidman.  The Hours, Far and Away, Malice, all good movies that she is also great in.  Every great actor makes stinkers, but they also make good movies as well.

Now, for people that are awful actors that only make bad movies:
Jessica Alba (with the exception of Sin City)
Paul Walker (cute guy, awful actor, always gets bad scripts)
Jessica Simpson (although I don't consider her an actress)

I seriously love Paul Walker!  But that's because I think he's smokin hot. Sadly, I know he doesn't make very good movies.  But....you should see Running Scared - that's probably the best movie I've ever seen him in.

Running Scared is the exception, but his acting was just ok.  Normally his movies are ba-rutal though.  Farralicious has spoken - HAHAHAHAHA!!  (That is a totaly inside joke.  For those of you that are not shopchicago33 please do not think that I am crazy.)
