poor man's mackage: yet another quickie poll...

I actually prefer the 555 Soul jacket to the Mackage one. Everything about it is cuter - the toggles, the zipper pocket, the print, the hood.

I would get the 2nd one, and then if you really love the mackage, just stalk it. I think the mackage is totally fabulous and worth stalking. However, the 555 soul is a more classic shape. Its really cute , too.

I would buy 2 and wait for the Mackage to go on sale. If it sells out in your size before a sale, keep the 2nd one. If you find the Mackage on sale, then buy it and return the 2nd one.

While I like Mackage in general, I don't think that is their *nicest* coat, and there are definitely way nicer ones that come with the same price tag. I think I like the 555 Soul one better too, especially for the price.

i think i'm the only one, but i strongly prefer the mackage one. I like the length and how its a combo of a zipup/henley. I like the plaid w/leather combo. I don't hate the second one, but i don't prefer it. However, a $400 price difference is big, and if you won't wear the jacket a ton, i think the second one is a better alternative. if you want it to be a more substantial jacket, i'd save for the mackage (fyi- revolve only has one left in a small).

ITA...but I also strongly prefer the Mackage one because from a quality standpoint, you are getting a seriously amazing coat.

I think the Triple Soul one is too "noisy" with the toggles and the arm pocket, but the styling is similar enough that if you know you'll be happy with it, you should get it.

I prefer the 555 Soul. I like the hood, buttons, and pockets better. Also, this may be just because of the model's pose, but the Mackage kind of looks like it has a kangaroo pouch.

i vascillate from LURVING the mackage, to being meh about it. and sometimes i think the 555 soul jacket is adorable, and then i think it might look garish. i think the only way to cement my feelings is to try both on and prance around for a day. sigh.
