Just thought I'd update you ladies.....
I went to the Dr. this past Friday and I'm about 2cm dialated and the Dr. said that if I don't go before Thursday then I'll be induced Friday morning.  That's only like 6 days away!!!!  However with the signs and symptoms I've been having everyone around me thinks I'll be in the hospital in the next couple days.  I'm being induced a week early because a ultrasound several weeks ago showed the baby being about 8 pounds and with the rapid weight gain that the baby has at this stage there's a VERY good chance that I'm getting ready to have a BIG baby.  Which runs strongly in my family so it was expected.  The Dr. will let me try and deliver naturally until she sees that there may be a problem with the weight and at that point she's already told me to be preparred for a c-section because she's not planning on putting me through hours and hours of labor for a baby that I cannot deliver.  I'm fine with that.  All I want is a 100% perfectly healthy baby.  I can recover from however it makes it's entrance into the world!! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Awesome! Have you been having backpain or anything? Did your doc say anything about trying to strip your membranes rather than going directly to chemical induction? There's bad and good just with everything in medicine and I don't know how you feel about natural versus induced births but just wanted to throw that out there as an option. My work involves diabetic women so our patients are always having huge babies! Lots of inductions and c-sections but sometimes the docs try stripping first. Good luck with everything and keep us updated!

Geez, it just seems like it was days ago that you were announcing you were pregnant! (Probably doesn't feel that way to you though! )
