Size Charts?
Permalink Closed

Do you all follow the advice of online size charts?  I was looking at something at Banana and wanted to know the size difference.  I usually wear a petite or regular extra small.  I am 5'1 100 lbs and 34 almost B.  But according to the size charts I would be a size medium which would be huge on me.  Are those accurate am Im in denial that I should wear a bigger size?  My clothes are not tight at all.

Not in denial at all!  I've got about 15lbs on you, and I wear a small most times, or an extra small if the item is a generously cut style.

I have found that BR runs large for me.  I usually wear a size 6 everywhere else, except at BR where I wear a 4.  Talk about making a girl feel good.

I am the same sizing as you. At Banana Republic I wear Petite XS, Petite 00 or 0.

I think BR runs HUGE. I have jeans from there that are a size 4 - and I'm usually a size 8.

I don't shop at BR so I don't know about them in particular, but IME a lot of size charts are off. It's quite frustrating when I'm online and that's all I have to go by.
