I've been really lazy lately. I think I've been to the gym maybe three times in the past two weeks. I've been eating ok, but it's been so cold that once i get home I can't force myself to go out again. I've also been really tired and I've fallen asleep by 8:30 every night this week. Part of my sllump is due to the lack of exercise and I know I'd feel so much better if I'd just drag my butt to the gym but it's sooooo hard to actually do it. How depressing! I can't wait for Spring.
I know the feeling! Sometimes I'll miss a whole week of gym visits just because I'm feeling tired and then not working out makes me feel more tired, and then before you know it you're out of the habit.
This is silly but it works for me. If I know some new songs I want to listen to that are fast enough to be on the "running mix" I'll add them to the play list and tell myself I can only listen to them while I'm running. Changing up the music keeps the run interesting too.
