Dad's 50th birthday

My Dad is turning 50 in April and we are throwing him a big bash.  He is a football coach for Jr. High level and has been for about 15 years.  Most of his friends are also coaches.  We want to throw him a "football" themed party.  I am starting to come up with ideas about invitations and I want some kind of clever short poem.  My idea is that Team "Young" is playing against Team "Old" and something about reaching the "50" yard line.  Any help would be great!!

This may sound corny but something I thought of real quick is this. You could probably change the wording around or something. HTH!
"Help us kick off the game between Team Young and Team Old!
Can Team Old make it over the hill to the 50 yard line?"
