Ive been MIA for a while due to school, this is the hardest quarter of my program... but ill be back on here alot again after spring break in March... For now I can only pop in here and there.
Anyways, My Boyfriend is away in another city for preseason for his sport for 3 weeks. I just talked to him and he seems really down (its pretty intense with alot of running) and he can't get in touch with his family who live in a developing country (the phone lines are always tied up). Hasn't talked to them in a few weeks.
So Id like to send a care package to him with a bunch of things to cheer him up and let him know im thinking/care about him. So far I have a few pair of fun boxers (valentine ones, and ones of the sport he plays from banana republic) and some pistachios because they are his favorite snack. Other than that I have no clue what else to add. He is super busy during the day, 2 practices a day.
I want what I send to be a really good care package... something that will make the rest of the guys on his team jealous he he.

How about a picture of the two of you, plus something he can use in relation to his training. Does he get sore after running? A hot/cold pack might be nice to include.
Thanks girls, he is a super health nut, so he doesnt like cookies, and he is actually in a warm climate so no scarf for him. I think I will get a hot/cold pack though cause he has mentioned hes been sore
any other suggestions?

I think that is enough for a nice care package there. You're an incredibly giving person (I wish I was dating someone like you) and that's really a nice thing to do. He doesn't need twelve things. What you listed is taking notice of his situation and thinking of him and should really cheer him up. He's lucky to have you sweetie.

Thanks again ladies for all your help! And dizzy your right, as usual ;) I should probably just send those two things.. its the thought that counts!...
I did set out to do that, honest. But I went into target to get the pistachios and came out with a bunch of other things. Heres what i ended up putting in it, I again went overboard.
Sports themed boxers Valentines day boxers pistachios sour patch kids lifesaver gummies DVD First four epidsodes of 24 (he missed them) DVD- Unfaithful (he mentioned he wanted to see it) Jack Black body wash Bliss Mint body wash (it smelled so good couldnt resist) And he keeps using my philosophy body wash ha ha And a mushy homemade valentines day card made with glitter and all :) :)
it actually turned out really nice I used red tissue paper and this red white yellow striped tissue paper to fill up the box and cover it up.

The care package you sent sounds AMAZING! He is so lucky! I was too late for this one, but if you send another one I have a cute idea. Jelly Belly makes these "sport beans" jelly beans that have all kinds of vitamins in them for sporty people. I got some for my DH for V-Day because he is working out a lot. They have a couple different flavors.
