LV Speedy 30, buy now pay later options?
Permalink Closed

Dear ST members,

I have been wanting a LV speedy 30 handbag, and well after requesting it for the past couple of x-mases and b'days to no avail from my DH, I've decided to start shopping. I am searching for a place who sells them but offers a "buy now/pay later" option...

I jsut don't have the $700 now, but can surely break it up into 3 payments. Any ideas???

The only site I saw the carries originals is Eluxury.com and of course they don't offer the option...

I think the closest you'll get is putting it on a credit card.

That was going to be my suggestion.  Charge it, resolve to make 3 payments and make the payments.  But be disciplined enough so that you don't end up paying so much interest.

Like others said, the only option would be to put it on your credit card. But you would end up paying more that way.

Could you open a new separate bank account, just for your LV funds?  You could put away $X00 per paycheck and in Z number of months have enought money to buy it, rather than paying interest on your credit card balance.  You've waited this long, what's another 6 (or however long) months?

You're right. I def don't want another cc. It's too easy not to pay it off right away. So I'll prob follow your suggestion.
