I don't know the style name, I do not own this shoe.....but two gals here in my office do.  They have both had trouble with this shoe.  The leather splits where the toe creases when you walk.  One girl's isn't too terribly bad...jut barely cracked.  But the other one is totally split open.  Both girls have only had the shoe a few weeks.

She is currently trying to contact Steve Madden...she bought the shoe at Dillard's.  I'll let you know what she finds out.

Any one else have this problem?

That's terrible!  I wonder if they got a poorly manufactured batch.  I've had mine for about a month, and I've worn them tons and have had no issues - hopefully I don't either!

Oh no! I bought mine at Dillard's too, but haven't worn them yet. Did she try taking them back? Let me know what SM says and thanks for the heads up!
