i FINALLY respected meredith as an actress when she was talking to her mother about why she wants her to have the surgery. for me, meredith redeemed herself a bit this week, although i thought the storyline was kinda boring considering they just had the episode with george and his parents.
i loved christina this episode. i think she has been a bit dull in the last couple of weeks but i liked her and the end was great!

The thing with Meredith's mom was super emotional and made me cry. But I think that was a good thing in this case.
The blood poisoning was pretty far-fetched, but it was still pretty dramatic and all of that... I wonder if repurcussions from it will appear in later episodes? I mean, everyone went in there...and it was so dramatic....but it just seemed like they put on a face mask and they were fine
Callie and George completely surprised me, and I thought they'd drag out the thing with Christina and Burke a little longer, but I'm glad they didn't because it would've been killing me! They were so cute at the end...

Was anyone else completely disgusted with the behavior of George's "friends" toward his marriage? What in the hell is wrong with those b*tches? I liked Izzy a lot less after that episode.

i agree, but i think it just seemed so out of character that i thought it was poor writing to script it that way so in a way i didn't find it believable. does that make any sense at all?!
oh, and i forgot about one of my favorite parts....the very end when addison was with alex in the free clinic and then later on with mcsteamy. hehehe. she's been making me laugh lately.

I loved the end when Burke and Christina hugged and she actually smiled for once. I was tired of them being miserable to each other so it was fun to see a cute side of them again. I love that George eloped, it's so cute and I love him married. And agree, I actually like Meredith this episode, I'm glad they're moving on from the McSteamy crap and actually giving her a story line. Oh I also like that the Chief went to Meredith's mom and gave her what she wanted. It was heartbreaking. Especially when she said they're lives would have been wonderfully ordinary and Meredith was upset she called her ordinary but I think it was a compliment masked in jealousy. God I seriously read into a TV show way too much!

I couldn't agree more. I also think that all of "George's" friends have always been really bitchy to Callie for no reason. I didn't really like Izzie in this last episode, either. Now Bailey is becoming my favorite.

Ditto!

I think the funniest part for me was when Alex said "oh my god, she's Callie O'Malley."
ROFL I was cracking up at that. I definitely was surprised at the way everyone responded to the marriage. I mean, just knowing the characters it seems like they would've at least pretended to be happy for them.
Collette, I don't think you were reading too much into it! I think it was definitely written that way on purpose.

I agree - they've never been nice to Callie, so I wasn't surprised that they were bitchy and rude to her as usual. I wish they'd knock it off though, because George and Callie genuinley seem to care for one another, so they should be happy for him. I think it was a stupid move to elope, but whatever....
I knew Christina would say yes to Burke. I loved when she said "I don't do rings, we're going to make a lot of money, so we can hire a wife." She cracks me up. Also loved the way Addison was eyeing Alex. I hope they get it on soon!

I think that she was hooking up with Mark at the end so that she wouldn't waste a number. HAHAHAHAHA!!!
