can you recommend a daily hand lotion? All the hand lotions currently use now are scented and my doctor advised me to try Lubriderm. Besides that is there anything else out there?
I was just diagnosed with a case of eczema, but have been using Lubriderm as an everyday lotion for years (but I usually get the generic version). I also use Eucerin as an everyday body cream, though I have been pleased with Aquaphor as well.
I like Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Lotion. It's thick, but can be easily rubbed in into the skin. I like Aquaphor too, but it's cheaper to just use pertroleum jelly, and it can be hard to rub in.
I use Aveno and it works great for me. My friend who has it also just picked up, at the suggestion of her Dr., a shea butter stick. it is similar to a giant chapstick. I really liked it because you can keep it in your pruse and rub it on quickly without making a mess.
I've had ezcema for years and multiple dermatologists have recommended Cetaphil for sensitive skin. The stuff that comes in a tub rather than the pump is what works best since it's thick and keeps your skin from getting dry and irritated.

I agree, I have dealt with excema my whole life and have tried just about everything, other than prescription strength creams, this (Gold Bond) works the best for me.
I've had it since I was a baby. I love Aveen Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream. Even the stuff the other girls mentioned works but doesn't quell the itch or actually makes my hand itch more.
