I really like it but am unsure of how it will look on me. (does being heavier on top exclude me from being able to wear the ruffles?). I think the fact that it's all one color tones down the trim but I'm not sure...

I would think that your large chest would make the ruffles difficult. I usually think of ruffles as a more flat-chested thing. I think it will just make you look top-heavy

I love the color!

But I wouldn't wear it for the same fear...that it would make me look too top heavy.  I steer away from ruffles, and i know we have the same body type...

You aren't the only one.  I'm not a fan either.  I think the ruffles along with the heavy fabric (wool) will make it be a bit much on a large chest.
