Outside of being in horriable pain and having swelling?
I have been having a awful week and last Thursday I was in a hurry;so when I got into my car I didn't realize I my leg wasn't in the car and I slammed the door closed on my foot.(yes this is one of the stupidest things I have done.)
My friends' have told me it must not be broken because I can move my toes and walk on it. It hurts like so bad when I walk on it and if I touch the top of my foot I am instantly in pain, and there is a dark blue bruise across the top of my foot.
I would just go to my doctor, but I don't have an health insurance at the moment. Besides there isn't much they can do for a broken foot right? What should I do?

Go to the doctor. I've broken my ankle twice and both times I could walk on it and move it around (with a lot of pain, of course). Besides, a broken foot needs a cast, its the toes they can't really do anything for.
My ankle was incredibly swollen and painful...
ETA: Not to be a total mom, but I've had a lot of experience with injured extremities. I'm a major klutz. There is a good chance its only badly bruised or sprained (been there many times, trust me), but if it is broken, you can injure it more by walking on it.
Go to the doctor. I broke my foot a couple of summers ago and everyone told me it wasn't broken. I went to the doctor a few days later and yep, it was. It hurt like hell and it was horribly swelled and bruised, just like yours. And, just like yours, I could walk on it and move my toes. It just hurt a lot to do it.
If it is broken, you'll have to get a boot. It's not terribly attractive but it's immensely necessary if you want to get around without damaging your foot more. I wore regular shoes before I was technically allowed and now my bone on the side of my foot sticks out at a weird angle (although it's healed) and it hurts every now and then if I hit it. If I would have been a good, little girl and followed the doctor's instructions, that wouldn't have happened.
So definitely go! Better safe than sorry. And if it makes you feel any better, I fell off a platform flipflop in my accident. It is quite the humorous (and stupid) story.
Good luck and let us know what happens. I know you've been going through a lot, so make sure to take care of yourself, too. Sending good vibes your way!
I went to the doctor yesterday and they took x-rays.Turns out nothing is broken, I just bruised it very badly. I am supposed to stay off of it as much as possible.
