I can't do this whole "new volume" thing because as it is I'm heavier in the top healf and it just makes me look really fat. Most of my cute, "girly" tops from last year are a little tight right now...so I've fallen into the fitted T rut and DH is starting to complain that I'm not stylish anymore (not that I'd let that bother me normally, but I kind of feel blah too).
Can you help me find some cute, girly tops/sweaters? Preferably somwhat colorful (I've also fallen into a black/brown rut) and work appropriate (pretty casual office so just nothing too low cut or sleeveless). I've been searching, but nothing is catching my eye lately.
Iam having a hard time finding them too, maybe Iam to picky this one is cute but may be to short. I will look around some more but I need to get ready for lunch with family
hum I cant get the pic to show , but is a pink wrap top from rampage
I have this one and its really pretty IRL. You have to wear a cami under it. They have it in these colors too. I have a old (aug) t-s post if that helps.
Go check out forever 21. I went today and found so many cute tops. I had a hard time narrowing down what to get. They have a bunch of spring colors out as well.
I like that light blue anthro one a lot. The others are cute too, but button-downs usually gap at the chest on me. I guess I'll check out F21, but it always kills me to spend money on their quality.
I hate whats in stores now. I might just end up buying last seasons anthro stuff on ebay if I can find it.
i would check out BCBG outlets (if i remember correctly they should be having sales right now). my whole closet was BCBG a couple years ago and i've never gotten so many compliments on clothes.
also, i think urban outfitters might have some cute tops if you dig for a decent price.
there's also arden b and bebe (i've found maybe three or four amazing and classy tops there in my lifetime, but you never know).

I completely agree and was thinking the same last night as I was shopping there but I tend to look for and only buy the "higher" quality pieces. I look for the thicker sweatery material and the non-cotton shirts as those items tend to hold up better.
I tried to find what i bought last night and didn't have any luck. I'll take pics and post later but for now here is 1 example: I find shirts like this there are ok and will hold up.
