Weird Myspace Question
Permalink Closed

Does anyone know how to view profiles on myspace that are private profiles? I mean, without getting added as a friend or such? I'll be honest. I'm basically trying to spy on someone without them knowing I'm spying on them. (Without going into details, it's 95% legitimate.)

Possible or no? I'm tempted to create a fake profile and go at it that way but I'm not sure if I can even do that.

I think the only way you can view the profile is if you're on their friends list.

Also, just wanted to say I love, love, love your avatar!  I really wanted to be She Ra for halloween last year but I thought of it too late and didn't have time to put a costume together. This year for sure!

Thanks! I love her, too.

Oh well. Maybe it's better I don't figure out the myspace thing. It would probably cause more problems than it would solve.

I have my profile set to private so that unless you're on my friends list, you can't see my page.  You'd have to be on the person's friends list in order to see their profile.  No spying for you Nancy Drew

Ha! That's right. I'm old school like Nancy Drew. If I were Veronica Mars, I bet I could figure it out. Or call in a favor from one of my techalicious geek friends. I need smarter friends.

You can can create a fictional acct or have one of your friends ask to be her friend.  I have people ask me all the time to be his/her friend that I don't know.

My interests lie very close to yours, ILC. I think I'm just going to go on being ignorant. I don't want to learn something disturbing and then have to own up to how I did it.

Btw, if you search "myspace hack" or something similar on google, you'll find all kinds of things to help out with this particular problem. Not that I know or anything.

But I decided not to look... *sigh* I don't want to be like my mother. She'd totally look.
