I admit that I am starting to have a hard time getting excited about these. Every time I see clothes in the preview that I think are really cute, then I am not impressed when I see them in person. Proenza Schouler is definitely my favorite designer to do a GO collection so far tho.
hmm....nothing seems that particularly exciting to me. And I agree with luckylily...even when I see things that look cool on the website, I don't like them when I actually get to Target. And when I do like them.... they're still not worth the extra money Target charges for the GO collections.

My issue is qualtiy. Sometimes I love the pics of it then I show up and hate the quality. I do love though a few of the items in this collection and for those prices, I am holding out hope that it is as cute in person.
ok, I can actually think of something I got that I LOVED. I forget which line it was! But it was a black eyelet dress I bought this summer. I had to take a 9 in it, even though I'm 6 normally. No big deal... but then it shrunk horrendously even though I didn't put it in the dryer. That was $40 I could only wear once

I have that dress too...I love it and wear it in fall w/ a button-up shirt under it. Luckily, I've always dry cleaned it! Good to know.
So far the only Go collection I have liked was the tony and tina one,and then I got most of it on clerance. From the add I don't really care for this one at all.

Tony and Tina??
Yeah, that's my only gripe with these collections - the quality usually isn't that great, and when it is, sometimes they charge too much for the pieces! I shouldn't be paying $60 for clothing from Target! However, I read somewhere that the designers were very impressed with the work Target did on the clothes. But they're most likely saying that because they want to sell the line! I know I'll be picking up a number of pieces from this collection (if the quality is decent enough!) and I always find a few things on clearance.

Paul and Joe?
Ah yep I think that was it. I wasn't sure anymore because the tags in the clothes were annoying and I cut them out.

As usual, I really like the look of the collection, but I know that it won't live up to the touch test once I see it in person.
Is anyone interested in meeting up after work and checking out the clothes at the pop-up Proenza Schouler for Target store at Opening Ceremony in Soho on Feb. 2? It will be there until Feb. 5.
