Ok, so what did you think of last night's episode?
I have a nagging feeling that won't go away -- I feel like the whole plot with Jack's "evil brother" is a little cheesy! I know I need to trust the writers, they've done an awesome job for 5 years now, but...... seriously? The mastermind behind last season's nightmare, who used President Weakling as a tool for his evildoings, just happens to be Jack's brother? hmm....
I also think that Assad is potentially still very much a terrorist, and is still a bad guy, and this is all part of Fayed's plan -- having Assad get cozy with CTU and the govt!
Also, I have a theory.... I think the evil brother's son might actually be Jack's son! Just the way they placed emphasis on Jack meeting the kid.... and the alleged history with evil brother's wife not being able to "get over Jack".... thoughts?
I love your theory about Jack having a son!! I have to disagree about the brother plot line being "cheesy" though. I think that it is awesome! It adds to the air that Jack Bauer is a modern day version of a tragic Greek protagonist. Nothing in that man's life goes right.
