I find it humorous that Beyonce didn't even make the snub list! Wasn't there some big hoo-ha about this being her big shot for the little golden guy??

If Sienna Miller's acting in Alfie was any indication, I'm not surprised she didn't make the list. Unless she significantly improved in Factory Girl!

i completely forgot about that!  and didn't she throw multiple hissy fits when jennifer hudson completely outshone/outsang her?  i'm sure she's even more pissed now.

yeah - i used to like beyonce, but it seems like in the last year or so, she's become quite the diva. and i don't find diva behavior appropriate from anyone. so she doesn't get the oscar (or even all the kudos) this time around. it's not like she doesn't have world fame, a butt-load of money, and (at least, it looks like) a good, regular relationship with jay-z. shes's only what, 25? there will be other chances for her.

This is interesting - I saw an interview with Edward Norton today & they mentioned his "snub" for The Painted Veil- he said they let the movie out late & weren't in consideration for the awards this go round...

I'm surprised that "Blood Diamond"  didn't make it for best picture.  I thought that movie was amazing.

Is there a reason Bobby didn't make it for anything? I'm really dumb about awrds qualifications, so there could be, but it makes me sad that it's not up for anything. I thought it was great.
