outfit help and sizing question.

First, how does jcrew sizing in pants run?  I wear a 6 in Express Editors if that helps.  If you were getting these pants, would you get this in this yellow color or in navy? Do you think the yellow is tooo neon?  I have decided I NEED them badly  .  The back of them are too cute.   I am planning on wearing these shoes with them (I have to buy these navy/white shoes first--I have been salivating over them ever since I saw them in Dillards)

   navy/white

I could basically wear the shoes, yellow pants, and a simple white top.  But if I get the navy pants instead, what kind of top could I wear that I could tuck in?  Any suggestions?

In the pic of the yellow pants they show them with navy/white shoes

For some reason the navy pic won't post but here is the link  http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/product.jhtml?id=prod80465431&catId=cat140148

I find that the sizing at JCrew is similar to the sizing at Banana, Gap, etc., so if you're a 6 at express I think you'd be a 6 at JCrew.  I think the yellow is cute and not too neon.

I don't like the yellow pants at all - I think you should definitely go with Navy. Maybe it's just my monitor, but it looks REALLY neon.

i agree with Kitty that the yellow look really bright. i would go with navy, i think they'd probably be more versatile

I agree. I don't care for yellow clothes in general unless it's a pale or pastel color, I think they're just too hard to pull off and look good in, on most people.

Yes.  The yellow was bothering me a little.  The color is called bright butternut. It is definitely bright.
