This should probably go on tech style, but I thought it would get more traffic here.

My computer had a virus last week and I had to reload everything back on to it after wiping out my entire system.   Anyway, I just now noticed that Word and Excel aren't on my computer.  Can I download them from somewhere?  Or how do I get them back?  I have all the other programs I need since they came loaded on my computer and I can't imagine why Word wouldn't be on here.

You probably had them installed by someone else as most computers are no longer coming with office installed on them.  But since you are a college student, most universities are offering the opportunity to buy it at a discount - my brother bought a disk through school for $15!  So check with UF on Monday.

Thanks, I don't know why I didn't think of that!  I'll check with the bookstore this week.

Do yall have a technology service place on campus?  We had one called TigerBytes.  They did all the networks and servers on campus including the school email (checking it for viruses).  Anyways that is who we would go through to get this stuff because our campus bookstore was run by Barnes and Nobles and they would try to sell it to us at full price.  So just check around before buying it.

Edited to add:  Check this link http://www.it.ufl.edu/projects/microsoft.html
