I'm freaking out!*UPDATE*

I haven’t heard from my BF in 3 days.

He is a public health worker, and last Wednesday night he got paged while we were talking in IM. Apparently there had been a lot of flooding in that area (he lives 4 hours away)and there was some sort of problem that he had to take care of .He said he would call me on his way home.

He never called me, and hasn’t been online. I have tried calling his cell phone but only get voice mail (he doesn’t have a home phone).

 

I am really worried and don’t know what to think.

Maybe he just lost power(due to the flooding), or his Mom has a lot of health problems so I am worried it might be something to do with her.

Of course there is that little voice in the back of head saying “what if is just pulling away before he breaks up with you."

I am also very worried that something happened to him when he went out on a call.

 

I have his friends e-mail and phone # but I am hesitant to bother them.

 

I am just so worried!  Thanks for letting my get this out.

That's so scary!  I hope he's okay!  I'd get in touch with one of his friends and find out what's going on.  IF he's blowing you off, you deserve to know.  But if something IS wrong and the situation was reversed, wouldn't you be pissed if he didn't try to find out if you were okay?

Oh I would be totally freaking out, too!  I bet there is a simple explanation (e.g. he lost his cell phone charger and has been busy with work) but it is scary.

I assume you would normally talk to each other every day?  I think it's completely reasonable to call or e-mail one of his friends and see if they've heard how he is doing.  It won't be a bother.

Yes we do talk every day. We will maybe not talk for a day occasionally,but we always let the other one know if we are not going to be around.

I am going to go ahead and e-mail his best friends and ask them if they have heard from him.

I just got a phone call from him. He is okay,they had major flooding since Wendsday night. Since he is the supervisor he has been extremely busy,and has only been coming home to change clothes and sleep. He apologized for not getting ahold of me sooner. I'm just relived to know he is okay.

oh I'm glad he's okay! I don't know how you'd do it - I was worried last night when I thought my BF would be home and he didn't answer his cell phone for only 4 hours! Of course, turns out he was sleeping and his cell wasn't getting service in his room for some reason....but I can't imagine going 4 days. You're stronger than I am! I would've called up my BF's friends after just a day and a half or something!

The first day I didn't hear from him I figured he was still busy with work,but after two days I did start to freak out. LOL
