$158- got them for $58 during the anthro sale, so it was a great price (i think lilykind got them too maybe?)
I could return them and get my money back, but they were so cheap and i'm sad because i can't find them again for that price =( they were the kind of buttons that aren't sewn, but are machine inserted through the fabric. I loved the wash and wore them semi-often (maybe once a week?), plus i have a HELL of a time finding jeans i like. i never thought they looked super great though. okay, but not my favorites. what should i do ahh?
Can you take them to a tailor or something to put the button back on? Maybe they have a little machine or something. Or you could maybe switch out the buttons to regular ones?

i think if you could find a good denim tailor in your area they could put them back on for you. i've heard of girls doing this before. just make sure it's a good tailor and not some random dry cleaner/tailor who might do a sloppy job. for the price you got the jeans for, i'd say its worth the cost of tailoring!
I think that a tailor who speicalizes in denim will be able to put them back on for you. I don't know how much it will be, but if you're wearing them once a week it seems like you do like them a lot.
I have a denim tailor in LA where I take all my "problem jeans". I'm sure there is one in NYC as well.
i definitely agree with trying the tailor first, if they really cant help you then return them, what are you going to do with a pair of broken jeans? plus, they're not you're favorites so its not that big of a loss...please review if you do find a good denim tailor in ny, i havent had any luck finding any in ny...
The same thing happened to me with a pair of R & R's. I just went to Joanne fabrics and bought a new metal button. It was super easy to replace and it only cost a buck or two.
