Between $28 dollar leather hoodies, ridiculous January sales, separating from the hub and starting a new chapter in my life, i'm doing a stellar job at not keeping my resolution.

Anyone else?

i'm not officially on a ban, but my cc bill is really high this month and i don't know why.  too much "latte factor" (little things that add up).  $40 at lush on soaps, $35 on a french encyclopedia (but really nice!), $35 on a colander and a candle from whole foods, etc etc.  I am trying to simmer it down for a month or two...

I'm doing well in the new year.  Bought a cheap necklace from Etsy, and the $27 leather hoodie.  Ordered a Miu Miu bag, but I'm returning that.  No clothes or shoes.

I was doing awesome and my car broke down. I know I couldn't help it, but its such a drag to know I was doing so well on my own and had to take two steps back!

I'm doing very well. I put money aside for my boyfriend's birthday on the 13th for his present and to pay for his dinner and drinks... we ended up having people over, ordering in and drinking whatever was around, so I spent way less than I thought. Other than that, I haven't spent any money this month. My mom bought everything on my grocery shopping list; I didn't need any new books this quarter (awesome!!); and my gas tank is still half full (I haven't filled up since 1/1... gotta love living 5 minutes from school and work!). I'm really proud of myself and I hope that I can continue on this path. What's the best thing of all? I paid off two CCs this month!! Since I'm doing so well, I'm going to let myself buy some new clothes for vaca next month... and I'm counting on you all to make sure I don't go overboard!

I suck

We are paying out so much $$ for the house - new furniture -ceiling fans- etc.  What do I do when I'm supposed to be shopping for drapery?  I stop by Ross just to look at housewares.  Well $100 later in clothes.....but it was a lot of clothes!  I must say I look verra cute today

I was failing only moderately but since I bought plane tickets to San Francisco the other day I've hit the miserabley failing level.  I said I'd do no shopping for myself until March.... but I'm not going to be able to go to SFO next month and come back empty handed!

There has to be a name for this phenomenon. That always happens to me too, whenever i'm really tight with my money something big and unexpected comes up. Hmmm, I think I smell a new rationale to ban  shopping bans.

I was doing fine until i bought my fat jeans 2 weeks ago  for $150!!!  My mom just laughed.  She didn't know what else to think or say.  Otherwise I'm doing ok but I am finding my shopping therapy at the grocery store instead of the mall so I'm not doing that much better.

I started my ban on Jan. 1st, and I've already spent about $300....but with good reason.  I needed a suit for an interview and I got the job! YEAH!!.  Then the Old Navy and TJ Maxx sales got me.  I couldn't resist!

i was trying to get on the shopping ban since i spent my entire paycheck in nov. on xmas shopping, but then i dont know what happened, i ended racking up a huge cc bill for dec as well, and now januarys statement already has $200 at nordies, $135 revolve clothing, $55 shoes.com, $650 bf's valentines/bday gift, and im sure thats not going to be the end of the bill...

sigh....i have NO self control!!!
