I am sure this is just me but I really don't get the celebs w. problems thing. I know alcoholism is a disease but with the world in your hands and everything going for you why would you need to drink so much. I understand people who turn to alcohol when life is hard, and college kids who need some stress relief and fun but these young celebs I just don't "get it" I guess.

Well like you said, alcoholism is a disease, so therefore, an alcoholic doesn't choose to drink - they have an addiction. That being said though, I don't think LiLo is an alcoholic. Sure, maybe she goes out and parties too much and should stop, especially since she's still underage, but I think this is a case of her publicist telling her "Lindsay, you look like a trashball in the media and you're tarnishing your image, especially to your young fans. We'll send you off to rehab for a few weeks, say your an alcoholic..the public will feel sympathy for you, and this will save your imagine."

JMO, but I don't buy that she struggles with this huge addiction to alcohol.

eta: I in no way mean to imply that a 20 year old couldn't be an alcoholic, because it's very possible. I just think LiLo's full of it. Maybe that's just because I hate her!

Well I wouldn't doubt she does that too, but in the article I read it said for alcohol.

She's gotten so obnoxious lately, but I did love her in Freaky Friday and Mean Girls, so I still have a tiny soft spot for her. I hope she gets it together because she seemed bound for some big disaster!
