Has anyone ever taken cooking classes?  I'm interested in taking some but don't really know where to do so.  I know they sometimes offer them at community colleges, but do they offer them at places like Williams Sonoma, etc.?  TIA!

Is there a Sur la Table near you?  The one near me has lots of interesting, fab classes (most are one-night only).  HTH!

The local hospital here holds classes that have a healthy focus. They are reasonably priced.

Restaurants will offer classes occasionally. Vegetarian chefs do classes a lot because we vegetarians like to evangelize and convert people...

Yep, Williams-Sonoma hosts cooking classes year round. My bf and I took a couple of them late last year. We had a good time, learned a lot, and they were free.  I know I saw an email from them a couple of weeks ago about new ones being offered. I'd call up your nearest W-S store and ask them about the upcoming schedule. Then if you want, you can make a reservation over the phone and they'll put you on their list. HTH!
