I don't have the skirt, but I saw it in the store and I thought it was really pretty.  I tried it on and it fit TTS.  I didn't get it because the length was wrong on me (I'm only 5'2).  Halleybird is wearing the houndstooth one in a TS post and it looks fabulous on her.

As for the denim skirt, check out a J. Crew store if you can.  I'm pretty sure I saw one.

If you are willing to wait, you might try watching for either the Jcrew or BR one on eBay. Currently there is one listing for that Jcrew denim pencil skirt....it's a size 4 which sounds like it may be too big for you, but you may be able to find others eventually...depends on how long you're willing to wait.

there are also 34 listings for BR pencil skirts. Not sure if the one you're wanting is there, but it's worth looking at.

I found a few Theory skirts on sale @ my local Macy's.

The style is "Golda" which I really love.  I also saw a few of these skirts @ NM on sale as well.  Fit is great overall.

As for denim skirts, I've always lucked out @ Gap, ON or BR.  I saw a select few @ Off 5th so if you have one nearby, check them out.

if that version is cut like mine, it's totally flattering and really pretty on! I have only tried on the wool ones from this winter, but I think they ran a bit small. I think BR has adjusted their sizing a bit -- my weight hasn't changed since last year, but last year even some of their 00s were too big, and now they're not. I tried on the wool version of that skirt in a 0 and 2. The 0 fit, but it was a little too "va-va-voom" for work, so I ended up getting the 2. I think you are a little bit smaller than I am, so I'd probably do the 0.
