So I come home from school today and immediately start making dinner. I was a half hour into it and was sprinkling cheese over the top before I was to put it in the oven. Just when I was about done with the cheese I realized that the cheese was moldy! How could that be when I just bought the cheese a few days ago and the expiration date isn't until another 3 months!? I was super ticked and still am. My dinner was ruined! My family and I was totally looking forward to eating it. What a freakin' waste of time and $$. So I actually returned the cheese to the store for a refund. (I know, I'm cheap! ) But I just had to let them know how upset I was and wanted to make sure they weren't selling moldy cheese to other people.

On the positive side, with my refund I purchased 12 pack Cherry Cokes for only 99 cents each! There is a limit of two, so I've been making extra trips to the grocery store to stock up! I laugh when I see my huge stock pile of sodas!

Eww....that happened to me once. It was a Yoplait yogurt that I had bought the day before. The expiration date was for like a week later but when I took off the lid there was a little patch of moldy fur. I just threw it away b/c the store was too far to drive back.


 At least you scored a great deal on the sodas.

The same thing happened to me recently too.  I was cooking dinner, opened up the pack of shredded mozzarella cheese, and bam!  There's mold all over it!  I was so pissed because, just like you, I had just purchased it, and it didn't expire for months.  Just goes to show you, you always have to inspect things before you buy them.  Good for you for going and complaining!
