Listerine whitening pre-brush rinse -side effects?

I started using this product about 10 days ago, and about 5 days into it I noticed a strange taste in my mouth that is not going away.  My tongue looks different, and things don't taste the same. 


Has anyone had similar symptoms?  I thought it was because I was recently sick - and it very well could be-  but now I'm starting to think it's this rinse.  
Reviews on amazon make me believe I'm not the only one.  Any input?

Hmm, I've been using it everyday for the past year or more and never experienced anything like this.  Whatever it is, I hope it goes away!

Same. I use it twice a day and haven't had any problems.

I had a similar thing happen, I thought it worked well but stopped because it made my mouth feel gross, and I liked the way food tased before.

I had exactly the same problem!  It made my mouth feel weird, and my throat hurt, no matter how carefully I rinsed it out.

You know....is that the stuff that has hydrogen peroxide in it?  That could be the yucky taste.
