I just found out about a cool shopping website started by someone I know from way back: Nest -- http://www.buildanest.com.

Basically they sell boutique types of things (clothes, jewelry, home goods, etc.) and then instead of pocketing the profits, provide them as micro-credit loans to women in developing countries who would like to start their own arts/crafts based small businesses. I thought the website was really cute and for a good cause so I thought I would pass it along.

Can't wait until Christmas is over so I can start buying for myself...
