I want to get ankle boots to wear under pants and jeans. These 9west are on sale at zappos. Have any of you had this style? (i.e. hitting at the ankle or slightly below) Were they comfortable?? I just need some input. Thanks!!!

I have these ones from Target, which look exactly like the Nine West ones to me, and I haven't had any problems with them.
I am easily bugged by things like this too, and it hasn't bugged me.

Did you get them?

The style is fairly comfortable, depending on your foot and the 'give' in the elastic gore. As with anything, you'll get used to the feel of 'em.

I think this shoe boot cut is more practical and wearable than an over-the-ankle style - so, good choice. Yay you. Aside from pants and jeans, I've been liking them with straight/pencil skirts and dark opaque stockings. It's a teensy bit 1980s, I grant you, but still somehow conservative and classy. A black pinstriped skirt with a white blouse tucked in, nice black belt, and those - yowza.
