Local bakeries always send out Christmas gift baskets to businesses so you could order a couple of those to send to your clients. IF your clients aren't local, you can call a bakery in their area to send it to them.

If you can't tell, I'm a big fan of baked goods for Christmas lol.

These are the best thing EVER: honeybells. They are a cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit. They are like the sweetest, juiciest oranges you have ever tasted. One of my dad's clients used to give them to the fam.

They are only available for a few weeks--they come in January, but when you order them as a gift, they send out a little card to let the person know the honeybells are coming. Mmmm. And they are under your budget!

I think foods are the best client gifts. It's thoughtful without being overly personal, and it's easy for the whole office to share. If the gift is for just one person, a good bottle of booze is always festive.

Amazon has a pretty good selection of gourmet baskets and related junk. There's a company I think called Napa Valley Wine Baskets (I wouldn't swear that's the exact name, but a good Googler could find it based on that). Their non-wine gifts were very reasonably priced, but stay away from the ones with wine - it's mostly lesser quality bottles.

If there's a food item that's world-famous and unbelieveably delicious near you, and your clients don't live in the same region, that's always a nice gift. Peanuts from Virginia, coffee from Seattle, smoked salmon from Alaska, scrapple from Philadelphia...you get the idea. A client of mine in Chicago used to send me Frango mints from Marshall Fields every year. I didn't have the heart to tell her I hate mint, but everyone I re-gifted them TO seemed delighted!
