I'm trying to find a knee-length brown cordouroy skirt. I really want it for this Friday, but I know I'm cutting it close with Thanksgiving. I just need something to wear for occasions I'm uncertain of - something where I won't look totally out of place if everyone else is in jeans, but also something that won't look really sloppy if everyone else is dressed up. I figure I'll be wearing it with boots mostly.
Today I went to Dilard's, NY&C, and ATL. I looked at Kohls, Target, and Macys online. I can't find anything that isn't a mini!
Has anyone seen a knee-length cord skirt? I'd rather it not have a tulip shape - I saw one on the Macys site, I think, but I think cords just look weird in a tulip shape. Or any other suggestions for something that fits the not-dressy-but-not-casual bill?
I'm hoping for under $50, and extra extra points if it's a B&M store so maybe I can brave the crowds early Friday morning and have it in time to go visit my BF's family.
TIA!

I looked at all the stores in my favorites that have B&Ms and I couldn't find anything!
I'd try somewhere like Nordstrom Rack or a nice thrift store - somewhere where you'd have access to a large selection of styles and brands all at once ... ?
If you have cute bermudas or capris in some kind of twill/tweed/wool fabric, I think those would look cute with boots and would also be appropriate regardless of how dressed up your crowd is.

Can you take a road trip to Columbus? I just bought exactly what you are looking for at H&M at Tuttle Crossing Mall in Columbus and it was only 15 bucks! I also found one at the Gap Clearance Center (the one by the airport in Northern Kentucky) for really cheap too.

I always forget the Gap clearance center! I don't know why...It's so close to me!
