Which Cashmere Dress?
Permalink Closed

I have an $80 reward card for Saks that I want to spend, and I have been searching for a black cashmere dress to wear. I am leaning towards the Vince one, but I am not too sure if the sleeves would make it too hard to wear.

Which one do you think would be more versatile. I want to wear it as a dress by itself, probably with boots, and not over jeans. Keep in mind that I am all of 5' tall, so these dresses will be a decent length on me.

Thanks for your opininon!

Dress 1: Vince, $275

Dress 2: Juicy, $260 (in black)

I like the first one.  If you are wearing it by itself its much more dramatic.

I like 1 in theory, but I think the sleeves would make it hard to move your arms a lot and it might look really bunchy and weird if you didn't have your hand on your hip at all times, you know?  I'd go for the juicy.

I actually think the juicy one has a more classic appeal. More wearable for years rather than the Vince one. Which is still cute but the cut in more in tune with this years season.

ITA - I'd get the Juicy one.

i like the first one better...but I just bought a similar one from Express for $60, its short sleeves and its not cashmere...but it looks so adorable on...maybe you can save your money and check out the one from Express.

I have the second dress in grey, and I love it.  It's really flattering and soft, and way versatile.  It can be worn alone or with jeans and looks equally hot.  HTH!

I voted for the juicy one cause while the first one is hot, I'm afraid those sleeves will overwhelm your petiteness (is that a word?).

The first one is dramatic, but the second one looks like it would be more versatile and you could wear for years.

The juicy one is more classic, whereas the Vince one may look dated after some time. I would go for number 2.

I like the first one. I agree with everyone else though the 2nd one seems more classic.

I love the second one, and agree it will be more useful in the long run.

I like the first one. The second one looks kind of thin and cheap. Maybe it's just this picture or color.

i love the juicy one and have been thinking about getting it for myself.  i also agree w/the others that it's much more classic and could be worn for years.  while i generally adore anything by Vince, i'm just not crazy about this particular dress.

I love the first one, but the second one is more of a classic style.
