twopart question!


1. i'm gearing up to go christmas shopping, and my mother wants a new wallet.  her only specifications are that it be the longer, non-bifold type, and leather.  i should also add that she's probably one of the pickiest people to buy for, but for once wants to be surprised, so i'm kinda stumped.


i've started checking out some of the eluxury brands, but they don't seem quite right.  does anyone have any brand recs?  price isn't an issue, since this is a joint anniversary and birthday present as well.  i should also note: she doesn't like monograms.  as of now, a ferragamo gancini is the tentative frontrunner.


2. i also need a wallet, only i actually have some choices :)  i just need something that has at least 8 credit card holders.  i know these two are really different, but i love both for different reasons.

the leather on the MJ one makes me want to rub it against my cheek. If I got that, I would do that every time I took out my wallet. Which means I think you should get it.

hee!  part of me thinks i should get an uglyass wallet so 1. it would never see the light of day so that 2. i wouldn't use it so 3. i wouldn't spend as much money.  which makes no frickin sense, so i'm getting a pretty wallet.


the thing is, i have a botkier in denim, which seems to be very similar to the MJ.  i don't know whether i like it more or less because of that.
