Recently I've seen the slide top lip balm tins again like I used to buy when I was 5-10 years old or so (Mid seventies to mid-eighties).  Tarte has them again, and I've seen other brands.   I'm trying to remember the brand that made them way back when, and it's bugging the crap out of me that I can't remember!  They came in a gold colored tin and they made quite a few different flavors.  I can picture the tin and the display, but not the brand.


Here's the Tarte tin, but the ones I'm thinking of looked much different.

I just found it!  Anyone remember these???  Village Lip Lickers!!!

Actually, I was just reading that issue and ran across the ones you're talking about.  They're called "vintage" lip balm or something like that.

My cousin and I "collected" these!  I found them in an England drugstore (different brand) about two years ago and had to buy one to give to her to bring back the memories!!
