fabric ideas?

I want to recover my side chairs and sew a runner out of the same fabric to go over the secretary cum bar in my dining room.  Right now, the fabric is a leopard-esque black on taupe. I want a warmer color in there - maybe a more traditional leopard with more orange tones - I also considered black as well (the table is black.)

oh cool! I do like the chinoiserie idea too - the ones that are jumping out at me right now are these:



 



the rug has animals in it too, I also like picking up that dusky blue in the rug (can't find a good pic of it on the net!): ETA -- groovy! you can click on the rug and it puts it in a zoom feature!
