I tried this wool knit dress on at BCBG and loved it. However, it's 220.00. Is this a look that is worth full price, or would you wait for it to go on sale? I could definitely wear it during the week and during the weekends...and for my trip to Paris...but I'm not sure if there is a better and cheaper alternative?
It depends...for me, my size is never around by the time the BCBG stuff I want is on sale. I bought a BCBG dress at full price (through Macy's) this spring and have not regretted a penny. If it's something you will love and wear often, I say don't wait. But if you're not in love with it...then watch the sales and keep your fingers crossed. :)

the style and color definitely make it versatile...and it's super cute, but for me, it's not worth $220 (i'm kind of cheap though, too, so you can factor that into my opinion).
but you know, sometimes things haunt you. maybe instead of asking yourself, "is this worth full price?" you should ask yourself, "how much will i regret not getting this if i wait too long?"
I rarely pay full price for anything else but I do if I happen to come by the perfect dress. And $220 doesn't seem like that much if it's a dress you love and will get tons of use out of.
It's a beautiful dress and seems really versatile. I love the color, too.
it is cute and really versatile, but $220 seems like a lot. it sort of reminds me of a dress i just got on sale at ann taylor loft. it was only $49 and i love it. so if you think the dress is worth $220, get it, you'll probably get a lot of wear out of it.
