I caught it tonight after being out of the loop for a couple weeks... can someone tell me why Christina was so eager to be in surgery with Burke? I mean, obviously she's in love with him or whatever, and she's driven in her field, but it seemed like there was something more to it than that, because she went to such great lengths to get there...am I right?

I haven't seen tonight's ep, but Burke's hand is not up to par for surgeries since the shooting. He and Christina are the only two who know, so she is assisting him in surgeries to try and cover if/when his hand tremors.

Ohhhh!!!! I completely forgot about his injury! It completely makes sense now!

Thank you

Not about C and B, but is anyone else completely disgusted with the way they are portraying Dr. Sloan?  How could any doctor be pissed at someone for jumping in to save a baby's life?  I honestly thought that he would be a fun new character to watch, but his behavior just disgusts me.  Meredith is no longer my least favorite character on the show.

I am with you on this one, Farrah.  He is a real jerk.

About C and B, I think it is so dumb what they are doing.  How long do they expect this to go on, and I find it hard to believe that she is able to assist him on every single surgery he performs.

Yes, both of these things are ridiculous. Dr. Sloan is so nasty, but he's not even believable as a character because he's so illogical and mean! If I remember correctly, all Alex would be doing other than being in with the baby was staying on hold with the DMV? I know people want butt-kissing but I don't think anybody would be that nutty

and with Christina and Burke, it's not logical that she can assist him in every surgery, plus don't people start to notice that she's always there and no one else is?

Well if it makes anyone feel better, I'm pretty sure Dr. Bailey caught on to at least some of it last night... I'm not sure who I feel worse for, Christina, Dr. Bailey, or Dr. Burke.

I feel really bad for Burke...and I dont really like Christina. I feel like she forced Burke to go back into surgery. She kept saying "its what you do" or "who you are". IDK. She just seems like shes not taking his feelings or opinions into consideration at all.

I agree.  I hate the way that Christina and Burke NEVER talk about ANYTHING!!  It's starting to piss me off!  In every episode where something is going on between them, one of them runs away and they never talk!  In last night's episode she totally ditched Burke when Dr. Bailey was confronting him about why she couldn't help with the surgery and her name being erased.  Even though he covered for her, If I were him I would have run to get her and been like "why didn't you tell me you did that"  or something!

Also, is anyone else really feeling bad for George and HATING Cali?  George wasn't THAT bad and now she is just making him feel even worse because she is guilty about sleeping with McSteamy. (and I agree with everyone else that he is an ass!)  Enough being mean to George already!
