Crystal Pepsi!!!! Holy crap, this made me laugh because I remember this from the early 90s, and when SNL made fun of it with thier skit "Crystal Gravy." Am I dating myself?
I remember when it came out, and I thought it was so strange that got Pepsi to be clear. That SNL skit has always stuck out in my mind, because it was so grossly funny!

You mean they used Van Hagar. Hehe. I remember that too. Because clear Pepsi/Gravy was going to change the world.
This is my memory as well, that song stayed in my head! It was a big deal! Maybe it was several years later, but to me it seems like the big Zima craze came soon after.

I remember how it was the beginning of the 90's. It was an exciting time, because it was a new decade, and Pepsi was going for that vibe. They were also connecting the clearness of the cola with purity, according to Wikipedia. (I also remember how huge that Van Halen album was, along with the song "Right Now.")
The SNL skit used the line, "Finally you can see your meat" and "Crystal Gravy. You've never seen a gravy like this". Haha, that made me laugh. I'd love to see that skit again.
Anyway, I think I remember drinking it, but I don't think I was impressed. I think it tasted like regular Pepsi, but I'm not sure. It didn't have a lasting impression that's for sure.
