I've been taking a long, hard look at my wardrobe and have come to the conclusion that I need to breakdown and buy a black leather hand bag. 


So far I've found this one that meets the criteria (semi-large, leather, black - not shiny, one strap, fits over shoulder) but I'm a) worried about the quality (DKNY- never have had one) and b) worried its too plain but I kinda like plain in this case. 


Nappa Ruched Large Hobo $295.  Trying to stay under $300 maybe $250ish so I can put it on the xmas list for the bf to buy.


Any other suggestions or opinions??

I have a suggestion. I'm not sure if you will like the style, but I have this Kenneth Cole bag. The leather is smooth and nice yet sturdy. It fits very comfortably on the shoulder. If you buy it today it's $134 because of the 10% off, it's normally $150 at Bluefly.
