The holidays are upon us, and it's time to play Secret Santa!


This should be a lot of fun, especially with so many stylethreaders wanting to participate.


Since we don't want to find out who's naughty or nice, there are some ground rules in place to ensure Secret Santa holiday cheer this year!


To participate in Secret Santa, you must:



  • have at least 100 posts as of October 31
  • PM ILoveChoo with your name, address, and phone numberby November 17, and she will let you know who you will be Secret Santa for within the following week
  • spend $25 on a gift (if you find something that retails for $100 and buy it for $25, then that's all the better! Please don't spend $2 at the dollar store and expect to pass it off as a $25 gift -- stylethreaders can tell the difference, and it will put you on the naughty list )
  • PM ILoveChoo with the date that you shipped your Secret Santa gift which must be before Dec. 16
  • when you receive your gift, post in this thread who your Secret Santa was and tell us all about the fabulous things they sent you!

The rules have been edited to include a wish list of 5 items (I hope that's a good number!)


For those who have PMed ILoveChoo with your information, please PM her your wish list as well.



I kind of liked how we did it last year- it was really just a poll with things like favorite color, favorite store, size, things you didn't want, etc. I think that allowed for more creativity on the part of the giver than just a wishlist of items.

last years poll was extremmmely helpful.  Can we do something similar again- i like knowing what someone won't use (allergic to body lotions, etc).

don't worry about the list right now=- my excel shhet got screwed up, but I had a backup....it made the list I did all wrong though. Yes, I have atlgirl and colette. I'll post a final list tonight. If you sent me a PM, I still have it and will double check on everything so as logn as you know you sent one you should be all set.
