I love the outfit, but I don't think it is right for an interview, even in a creative field.  Do you have a boxier cardigan in a dark color or neutral?  I think with a bigger cardigan in a dark or neutral color it would work.

You look wonderful, but I do agree that the cardigan is too form-fitting to be interview appropriate. I have often found that wearing dresses with scarves or nice jewelry is a good non-suit interview option if you have a semi-conservative dress that you like.

First of all I wanted to say that you do not look the least bit fat!  So please don't worry about that :)
I agree with the other girls that the cardigan is a bit too snug for an interview (imo).  If you had another cardigan that was a bit less fitted, I think that would be perfect.  You look great!
Good luck on your interview.  Let us know how it goes.

I know you don't "do" suits, but do you have a cute fitted blazer that would go with the blouse and skirt? I don't think it would look "suity" if you paired the right one (colorful, fitted) with the rest of the outfit.

I have worked in many environments, including very creative ones, and anyone I interviewed who was not dressed professionaly (i.e. suit or equivalent) immediately was crossed off the list. Just like you, I don't "do" candidates without suits ... It just gives me the impression that he/she doesn't care or take the job seriously.

You know more than the rest of us, though, what is approprite ...

I love the necklace, by the way.

Thanks, everyone! I have a few blazers that I may reconsider. I don't love them with the skirt, but y'all are probably right that it's more important to look professional than cute, and since I can't seem to do both right now, I'll focus on the professional part.

I'll post pics later of what I end up wearing. I really appreciate the opinions and honesty!
