I just had the worst experience with shopkitson.com. I always check out their site and find cute things, but had never ordered. Well I finally decided to take the plunge and ordered a pair of Seychelle's ankle boots size 6. They looked very cute and I was soo excited. As you may recall I was planning a trip to NYC and the Berkshires and couldn't wait to take them w/me. So here we go.
First I order them, and a notice arrives 2 days before I am to leave for NYC that they're here but they will not deliver w/o someone signing for them. I call their CS dep and they tell me there is now way around this, so I"m leaving in two days and I bribe a neighbor to stay home for a day and sign for me. She does, I get them the next day and I open them and they are the wrong size! ughh. size 8, not even close. I call them to let them know what happenned expecting an apology, and their CS rep is sooo rude and just tells me to read the return policy, no refunds only exchanges. I even had to pay for shipping, even though it was their error. Now I don't have shoes for NYC and they don't care. Finally I get a call that they don't have my size, so I ask for refund-after putting me on hold they say OK. Two days later I get back from NYC and no refund, except for the original shipping amt, not the cost of the return shipping! I call them back and they said I was issued a web credit b/c I didn't specifically ask for a REFUND to my CC. Geez, I thought that was obvious..But no, finally they reluctantly refund my CC but no refund on return SHIPPING!!
BOOHOO TO shopkitson and their crappy customer service and return policy!! Never again!

Ewww, that sucks. I really can't believe that they didn't want to pay for return shipping when it was their error. That's really f'd up. I also can't believe that they make you sign for the packages. Most people work during the day and that's a HUGE inconvenience.
I have never heard a single good thing about that site. I don't know how they do business because I've really heard nothing but customer service horror stories about them.

Ditto. Every shopping story with this site always seems to be a nightmare. That is just not a good way to do business ....
Yeah I had nooo idea, or I would have never ordered from them. Not only do their policies stink, but they are suuuper rude! I felt like I was bothering them when I was asking for them to correct their own mistake...
On a happy note, the wedding in the Berkshires was absolutely beautiful! It was my first time at a Jewish wedding, and it was truly amazing with the fall foliage background, (it was outdoors) and the PERFECT 72 Degree weather!. I did find the perfect pair of black wedges. Here's a pic of them. They looked great with the dress I wore, which was a kimono style black and ivory dress.
I forgot my camera so no pictures of the whole outfit...
