After all my shopping this month, including my mini Victoria's Secret spree this week I've decided to put myself on a no more clothes shopping ban.....until after Christmas!
It's easier do if I pledge it here in writing!
My only exception is a holiday party outfit that I am currently on the lookout for. I'm envisioning a knee length sweater dress with long sleeves which hopefully I can get for a budget price!
If anybody else is done with their fall/winter wardrobe shopping and want to join, that would be fabulous!
Lol, I was just going to post about a shopping ban! I will join you.
Originally it was just going to be a bag ban, but I figure I'll take it all the way. I already bought everything I *need* for fall/winter, so when cold weather comes it'll be like getting new stuff all over again.
My plan is to hold out till mid December or so, when the holiday sales start. Wish me luck.

I came, I saw, I did a little shopping.
Sigh, I'm going to have to join you girls also. Hubby is giving me B-day $$ for this weekend and then I'm officially on the wagon! My boy's B-day is at the end of the month so hopefully that will take care of all the clothes he will need during winter - if not that will be my only exception. Darn mortgage!

I'm in! I started a ban a little while ago (Aug. 5), but i've only been banning myself from buying clothes, shoes and purses.
My rules are:
I can use Target gift cards that I get for free from my credit card company to buy clothes or shoes(though I probably wont be getting another one 'til the end of this year).
I can let myself buy things at Salvation Army or thrift stores (though I have terrible luck at thriftstores).
I can buy a couple pairs of tights, costume jewelry and socks etc
I really want to challenge myself to not buy any more clothes until I actually need them. It is so much easier to get dressed when you have fewer things to choose from. Actually all this talk makes me want to go shopping
I really need to join the ban too! There are a few small things I could use for fall -- some casual tees, a cream cardigan, new socks (how exciting). But I feel a serious ban coming on!
I really need to go on a shopping ban, I bought enough stuff to last me years. I just got two pairs of boots to add to my collection of ten pairs that I already own, and I live in So. Cali. I need to stop this obssesion ofcourse this forum doesn't help with everyone posting such cute things.
