space heater recs?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a space heater? Now that it's getting to be fall, my apartment is only going to get colder. My landlord doesn't turn on the heat until it gets to be under 40, and then it's only for about half the day I can't put up with it again this year

I was just going to head out and see what I could find, but I know I have some friends whose heaters turned out to be garbage, I was wondering if anyone here really loves a certain brand/model?

i got a good one for my office from target. it was small and inexpensive. don't remember the brand.

i use this one at work.  it works really well.  it is at home depot for $45.50.
