Can my hair look like this?

First off... hi everyone! I haven't posted in about a month; school has been keeping me very busy, but I've been lurking. Now that the summer quarter is winding down (finals this week!) I'm finally getting a haircut. I want a change and I think I found something that I like, but I'm not sure if it's a possibility for me. I have medium brown hair with partial honey blonde highlights. My hair is fine, but I have a ton of it. It's really boring.

I'm wearing a black headband... it's not really dark, overgrown roots    Also, don't judge... this is toward the end of my 21st birthday celebration , so I'm slouching, my posture isn't really that bad.

Here is what I want:

I never thought I would want to have such light hair, but I really love this. Is it possible? What would the process be for my stylist? Would it just be a disaster? Any insight would be helpful.

I think you could totally do this haircut. You're hair is already similar in length, so all you'd hav eto do is the layering and some color. Go for it and post some photos when done.

of course! I've been that shade of blonde many times and I have hair about your color. Your stylist will probably have to do a little extra work on your hair if it isn't dyed right now but it shouldn't be bad and your hair will be fine.

Definetly pm erin if she doesn't see this post.

Haircut is cute! I pretty much have that hair cut right now.

However, as a former blonde of about that shade..I'd recommend NOT going that light. My hair is actually naturally about your color and in order to get your hair as light as Nicole's you'll have to die it and then do highlights/lowlights. It is a bitch to maintain..you start to get roots after about a month, and you have to go back every 1.5-2 months to get the roots re-done. Also, it really kills your hair. If your hair is already fine, it just makes it worse.

you can definitely do that cut! even if your hair is fine, you seem to have thick enough hair to pull off that cut nicely. plus, with it shorter it will have a lot more fullness.

hair that light blonde, though, is not flattering on many people. you could always just ask for your highlights to be a bit brighter...and maybe a bit heavier highlighted towards your face. less maintenance and less commitment to such a drastic change. your color now is really pretty!
