how heavy is you purse? I was watching Oprah the other day and she comes out with this HUge bag and pops out all these things out of there. I'm just wondering how the heck she can carry that around and not hurt her back or shoulder. I see J.S and a lot of other famous people with huge bags too and wonder the same about them. Now I'm wondering about all you girls. :)


I sometimes have to stuff my medium sized bags and I dont last very long, I end up having to switch shoulders or carry it from my hand! Is there a trick?

Hmmmm...maybe 3-5 pounds...depending on what files I bring home from work!

Less than 1 pound. For the most part, I only use clutches. I am ADAMANTLY pro small purse. I have two normal sized purses that I might use every once in a while, and even then, I only carry keys, credit cards and lip gloss.

hmm I think 3-5 pounds right now. Once I get my larger bag in it will probably be more like 5-7 (I can carry my planner again!)

probably about 3 pounds...


but whenever i have my purse on the passenger seat of my car, the little "side airbag" light comes on...like to let you know that you have a kid who doesn't weigh enough to sit in front of the airbag or whatever...i didn't think it was heavy enough to trigger that, so maybe it weighs more than i think


now my school bag on the other hand...i do sometimes worry about my shoulder/back, but it's even too awkward feeling to switch shoulders...carrying textbooks sucks!

It really varies depending on where I'm going, the reason I'm so attached to the purse I am is that it is big enough for me to slip my dance shoes in there on my way to a lesson...so it's big enough to cary all kinds of odd things I think I need. And it's big enough that I forget what I've put in there and haul a bunch of extra crap around. Right now it's about medium, and I'd guess about 4 pounds, maybe less

Depends on what I am carrying, but I would say typically 3lbs, but can go up to like 10lbs.
