i think that could work if you paired it with a girly, floral-y top to offset the toughness...

Very cute together, I think. I just wouldn't wear anything to elaborate or boho-y (if I may make up a word). I would stick with a simple cream sweater (if it's chilly enough) or basic girly top as Valencia suggested (I think the first one she posted would be better).

I could see it winterized with a turtleneck and tights or for right now with a feminine top.  Just make sure you don't pair it with anything too rugged or it might look cowgirlish.
