I saw the first episode last week... I don't know what to think of it. I think I'd watch it if it was on, but I wouldn't make a special point to do so. (My TV doesn't really work anyway, so I just saw it at a friend's house. But I'm speaking hypothetically, here, like if I cared enough to get a new TV)

It could be fun, and I think I'd like to live vicariously through the main character (I forget her name), but the show, especially the end of it, seemed kind of lecture-y. She went on about all these revelations she'd made about love - but all she'd done was break up with her fiance and get a crush on one of the Alaska men! I felt it was way too early for something like that, and I that kind of get annoyed when characters try to impart wisdom on me, like I can't reflect on the show for myself.

I liked it too.  The Alaska theme reminded me of Northern Exposure.  I thinks it's produced by the SATC guy.

I like it.  And I love her coat.  Plus at the end of the first episode they played a Bob Schneider song
